I used to reside at crossacres childrens home. During my time there (1979-1980) it was known as Highlea childrens home. The adress was 1 crossacres road, wythenshawe, Manchester.

I can see from google maps,this has now been pulled down. A shame as it was a nice building. Developers being developers, we are losing many of our quality larger houses.

I would be interested to know when this ceased being a childrens home?
