"Great Memories"

A review of Haveley Hey Primary School by Chris Ackerley written on Friday 3rd of August 2012

Like so many I'm sure, I have very fond memories of Haveley Hey. I think the heads at that time were Miss Spinks, and Mr. Donahue. Also, Mrs. Ward, and maybe a Mr. Woods. Good friends too. Remebering names like Jeannie Charity, Linda Massey, Steven & Shirley Chapman, and of course Carl Woodman.

I would repeat those days in a heartbeat. I remeber coming home the first year and telling my mum that we were learning French!! Which I am still able to speak.

Those were the days when teachers really were allowed to do their job, (and punish you if and when you needed it).

Many Thanks to all the teachers that helped make me the person I am today.
