The reason why they never answer the phone is because the number advertised, 0161 865 1403 is no longer their number. I contacted Stretford Post Office to ascertain why they never answer the phone at Royal Mail's Lacy Street sorting office and they gave me their current landline number. I had wasted half my day phoning the old number because Royal Mail cannot be bothered to update their records. Unfortunately I no longer have the new number but if you phone Stretford Post Office they will give it to you..
