3 friends and I (we're all girlies) visited Atherton Karting and we had never sat in a Kart before!

We were given full safety briefing and told how to handle the karts and be safe on the track... we were petrified because we had just seen some really really good drivers, men unfortunatley, whizzing round trying to beat their own track records!

we went round a couple of times at zero miles an hour, feeling completely ridiculous, and then we were bitten by the race bug..it was fabulous! I wont say who won, because it wasnt me and it was purely a fluke overtaking manoevre, but hey, it was the taking part that counts (not!)

I recommend it to anyone, the guys there are really nice and helpful. TRY IT YOU'LL LOVE IT!.
