"Let down again"

A review of Make Do Mend by Very disappointed written on Monday 27th of April 2015

I have used this service on 2 occasions. On the first occasion I was given a date to collect the item I had left for alteration, when I called to collect the item on the date arranged the shop was closed. It took 2 further visits on separate days before the shop was open

Having moved to new site in Middleton Arndale I thought the service may have improved, however, I visited Make do and Mend on Monday 20 April and arranged for an alteration on a dress. Given Monday 27 April as collection day. Went to collect item at 1.45pm on 27 April and informed that it was not ready, could I come back later or tomorrow! My dress was still under the counter with the 2 pins insitu. Consequently I took my dress away from Make do and Mend and hope to find a reliable service. .
