"Passport Panic"

A review of Manchester Post Office by Sarah written on Tuesday 3rd of February 2009

I sent off my holiday visa applications and passports at the Manchester post office, Spring Gardens, with no problem. However an hour later I realised that my partners passport had been sent and he is due to go skiing in 4 days time. I ran back to the post office and the person at the counter checked to see if my package had been sent (which it had) so she gave me the customer service number to ring. Unfortunatly there was nothing I could do except wait for it to arriove at its destination then get them to send it back. Thankfully I recieved a phone call moments later, after alot of worrying, saying that they had looked again (in a differnet drawer) and my package had not been sent yet and I could come back and collect it. I do not know the name of the man who went out of his way to look again for my package and use his inititive to find my contact number and ring me but I am ever so grateful to him. Thank you so much. .
