I was a rookie p/t time driver for Maynes, I remember well Joe Davies who lived in Audenshaw and I always accompanied as second driver on Winsor and London tours, he knew all the roads, Tommy ,I think his second name was Walton , he drove their Bristol coach, think the reg was 7G, there was Ces Richards and his lad worked there, I remember Ces had a lovely Rover 2000 car and I touched the back when moving a twin steer coach, not very nice, I had to report that to Frank Palmer and Eddie Marsh.

I worked on the coaches and the bus tracks and even on the petrol forecourt with Alan Dale who did everything.

So many others I cant remember their names, so many good times and so much knowlefge to be gained some I still use now.

And Stepen Mayne I remember passing his PSV test and learning the job on coahes and even on the double deck football specials.

Does anyone remember me?, Peter Crompton, I was p/t and lived in Ralph St. just up the road from the garage.
